The Story of F*** on DVD in October

7 September 2010

Lewis Sipricosh (Finlay Robertson) is a frustrated A & R at Kosmos Records looking for the next big act to impress his deranged and depraved music boss. Aided by his beautiful assistant Daisy (Tamsin Egerton) they decide to create and unleash a band called Fuck on UK music lovers – the problem is that Fuck can't sing or play instruments...but when has that ever stopped a manufactured band from being successful?

The Story of F*** (the asterisks have been substituted by the distributor to at least give the film a chance of being stocked at supermarkets) is, we are assured, a snappy satire about the music industry, made by first time film-making cousins Adam and James Abadi and featuring sex, drugs, alien abduction and crocodiles. The film also stars Jo Absolom, Ameet Channa, Andrew Thomas Jones, Pete Bennett and cult transgender actor and producer Desire Dubounet in her first major film role. Dubounet also financed the movie. A look at the trailer below should give you an idea of the tightrope the film is walking – this one really could fall on its face if it doesn't get it right.

The Story of F*** will be released for the first time on UK DVD on 11th October 2010 by Network Releasing at the RRP of £15.99. The only listed extra is a trailer, presumably this one (and the language is not censored here):
